Poster Design for Group Project

My group for MED329 consists of Matthew Eccles, Connor Power and Robert Graham. After week one, once we decided to choose Connor's project as the project to pursue as a group. We had to each individually come up with mock up posters which could potentially be used throughout our project. Including in my own personal role of including them in our social media platforms.
We had to agree upon a colour scheme that would be consistent throughout, as our group is made up of individuals who all chose Animal Farm. Between us we all used the colours red, black, white and yellow. Therefore, my poster has three of these colours to keep with the Animal Farm theme.
To create this poster, overall it was quite simple and didn't take much time at all. I sourced a horse image online and used it as a template to draw over. To re-create the outline I used the lasso tool, then mainly used the brush tool to create the spray effect outline. Then continued using the brush tool to fill in the black areas where required. I decided to keep the background simple by just filling in the background layer with red, which compliments the image of the horse.
For the remainder, to create the border all I done was use the shape tool and create four rectangles. I also included an example QR code as this is necessary for all of our posters to contain.
However, as we were only making poster mock-ups we decided not to include mine into the project. Robert created the most aesthetically pleasing poster out of the four of us, so he was given the task of re-creating the horse poster.
