INTERACTIVE FICTION MED315

This is the name of my final submission for MED315, I came up with a narrative of a murder mystery theory and adapted it to my website so the user would be able to carry out the story by playing a game.

My narrative is that there are 12 people, each person is their own unique individual, with out of these people being a murder, therefore I am taking the concept of the game Cluedo and re-adapting it for my own project.

To help the users with my final project I included real life characters, I filmed the faces of 12 friends as shown to the right and edited them in Premiere Pro. I included this video on the landing page so the users can see the real life faces of all the characters included within my project.

This is a screenshot of the actual game itself, overall the game is really simple, however I have not given any instructions for the user except for them to read into each of the 12 characters profiles which contains a bio for each player.

For the user to complete the game, they have to drag a particular card onto the poker table itself, then the background will turn black and the game will be completed. I wanted to make it more complex, however my technical capability prohibited this. Player 11 is the murderer , the user can flick back to the landing page, re-watch the video itself and see for themselves the face of the guilty person.
